I'm a stylist who hasn't worked in the field for awhile and who has been mostly doing her own hair for years. I learned about Invidia by driving by it each day while driving my son to gymnastics. I decided to treat myself and have someone I don't know do my hair and eye brows. I got a full foil and cut by Katie who was SO kind and very reassuring. I got my eyes done by Shannon who was SO friendly and incredibly welcoming. I love my hair and my brows. They both did a fantastic job. Don't hesitate to visit Invidia you won't be disappointed:)

We love Invidia Salon! We celebrated my daughter’s 11th birthday here, and staff went above and beyond in making this day special. The coordinator for the party was responsive, extremely helpful in planning the day and provided great ideas. Hydrafacial at Invidia is amazing - now I know why so many women love the spa experience! Invidia's spa is relaxing, clean, well-appointed and serene. Hydrafacial makes my skin look younger (which at age 45 is a huge bonus) and feel smoother than porcelain (even with the constant stubble I like to keep). If you want your skin to be healthier and look younger, Hydrafacial at Invidia is your treatment. 5/5!
I also had a haircut in the salon. I've done it all when it comes to haircuts - cut my own hair, been to men's "high style" and "low style" barbershops, etc. Invidia is special because of the great staff, the calming environment, and the beautiful salon that looks and feels high-end but is as welcoming as the neighborhood barber. You feel like family immediately. 5/5!

I went back and was able to get a new hairdresser Christine is Top Notch!
My needs and what I wanted were very important to her she did a fantastic job with color and making sure I was happy with the blow dry and trim I got.
However they still charged me without taking off the money I had spent on the hairdresser before her that totally misunderstood what I was looking for her notes said I needed a root touch up but my hair was two different colors so the original hairdresser didn’t even understand that I needed a full head lightened to match my ponytail extension and that i feel I should have gotten my money back for but didn’t. I was told someone would come and speak with me but I’m not sure who it was I talked to.
When there’s a big mistake like only doing the front of my hair in a different color that money ( in full ) should be put towards the next color and it wasn’t ( at least not to my knowledge? )
I made another appointment with Christine love everything about her but I do still feel there wasn’t anything done by the person in charge to makeup for the mistake that was made the previous time so I’d still like to see this resolved so I can change my rating to five stars

I got my hair colored to match a ponytail extension that I have not sure that the color matches and we’ve had this problem several times before when I hadn’t brought my ponytail extension but this time I did will have to try it with the ponytail extension before I can tell if there’s a problem with the color have not had time to do that yet Also, normally I find that I get a lot more attention one on one they offer you coffee tea, water, or wine and normally they’ll ask you again halfway through those services haven’t been offered lately. They give you half a cup of wine and then they don’t ask you again. I’ve also had some trouble talking to my stylist even though I like her a lot , she is hard to understand she has a heavy accent and I don’t think that we’re communicating very well and I’m hoping that that’s not going to be a problem because at some point over the summer I’d like to get my hair lightened even more and I’m concerned about the fact that one the color never seems to come out correctly even when I bring the hair extension and the other thing is that I don’t like the way that my hair is been styled other than the first time I came to meet her. I think she did a great job that time . I think she makes the effort I just don’t think that she did a very good job the last two times I’ve styling my hair, so I don’t know whether she’s the best match for me or not considering I’ve worked with Jackie and I think the other girls name was Mary and they moved on And that’s been hard for me because when I find somebody I like I like to stick with them and finding a new person can be very difficult. I thought that we were a good match now I’m wondering if I need to find someone else within the salon that may be a better match for me than the lady that I’m working with right now .

Initially I had a less than stellar experience here, having an inexperienced nail technician resulting in a horrible mani/pedi on my very first visit. I contacted the owners that evening to give them a chance to communicate with me before I left any response and, though the shop was closed at that time, I received a fairly prompt response apologizing for my experience and requesting that I allow them tomake things right and redo the services. I appreciated the quick response and agreed to give them a second chance, and I'm very glad I did as my second experience there was wonderful. Katherine was professional, courteous and very helpful.

There was a misunderstanding about scheduling. I wanted a certain stylist and I ended up with another one. They didn't hear me well on the phone and I realized that our schedules don’t match. They were very polite and they apologized for it. Despite that Liana, the stylist who cut my hair did an amazing job and completely transformed my look. The Kontur wrap is AMAZING! After a nice relaxing moment in the tranquility room I was transformed into an hour of zen. Amber massaged my hands and feet while the warm Kontur did it’s magic. After the treatment I felt zero stiffness (osteo arthritis) and more relaxed than I have in a long time. The next day my jeans even fit better! If you’re looking for a wonderful way to treat yourself … you must try the Kontur wrap! I’m going to purchase a package for my own self care.

I had a great experience here getting my haircut. The stylist listened to what I wanted and I love my new haircut! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend and be back myself for a haircut or try another service.

A few months ago I had my first experience at Invidia Salon and Spa right when COVID guidelines came into place. They did a fantastic job with keeping the facility clean and with reassurance that it was safe to be there. I feel safer there than i do at any retail establishment or restaurant. I was recommended Marie by a friend and she is simply amazing. She did my color exactly how I wanted after thoroughly explaining the process. She is very warming and makes you feel comfortable no matter how long your appointment is. I HIGHLY recommend her if you want a good quality hair cut and/or coloring.

Today was my first visit to Invidia Salon in Sudbury. I got a wash , haircut and style from Lauren! My hair was long.. down past the middle of my back. I told her I wanted it cut to my shoulders and I wanted a cute style with lots of texture . I let her do the rest... and she created this masterpiece! She was very friendly and professional... she consulted with me prior to cutting and during the cut. She did a beautiful job and my hair turned out exactly as I had envisioned! Lauren also recommended different products that I could use that would help with styling and achieving my desired look. She had a nice personality and was a great listener but equally as great at offering her suggestions and ideas. I will definitely visit Invidia Salon and Spa again and I will see Lauren again!

I had my hair done by Mariyah, and I love it! She did my hair for a college graduation and I wanted lose falling curls. They came out amazing! I loved them and they stayed looking just as good when the graduation was over as they did when I got my hair first done. Not only was I very impressed with her skills as a hair dresser but she was a very nice and welcoming individual. She made sure I was happy with results and makes you feel like an important client! Highly recommend going to the salon and her!!

I hadn't had my hair colored in years. I came in today and had balayage done by Jackie, she gave me EXACTLY what I was hoping for. She really listened to what I wanted. Then, I got my hair cut, layered and styled by Kate and she was AMAZING too! I was hesitant about having 2 different people do my hair (I booked it this way to get a sooner date) and I honestly think I want to see them both next time I get my hair done!

Sometimes I have a hard time verbalizing what I want in a haircut. Ben seems to be able to read my mind. I was looking for something that I could pull off in a professional setting but at the same time funky enough for my out of the office life. Through a series of color sessions and haircuts…he nailed it. Side note- did you know there is a difference between layering and thinning out your hair to get rid of the bulk?? I didn’t…but apparently there is a big difference!! Ben worked his magic and opened my eye to a whole new world of hair! And the owner, Phil, is a super cool guy. Very generous and treats his employees well. I always love to hear that the people at the top are doing right by their employees!!

I had the most amazing reiki session with James today. I had been feeling anxious, restless and overwhelmed the past 6 months. I took the advise of a trusted friend, with doubt in my mind. I like the finer things. That probably sounds snobby, but sometimes snobby is good! ;) I like quality items that are best in class. I like good shoes, clothing, sheets, hotels, food, personal services, and the best of anything else I buy. Invidia Salon and Spa is one of those finer things. The facility is beautiful, and absolutely massive. The variety of services, cleanliness, soothing environment, and beauty of the interior decoration and fixtures are unmatched. I love being a few blocks from Newbury St in Back Bay, but none of those salons even come close to matching the extravagance, services, expertise, or size of Invidia. Moreover, the staff treats you like family. Everyone is laughing, happy and welcoming. You feel like you are on vacation when you walk in and walk out! Of course, Invidia's staff also has a full breadth of service expertise. I had a Hydra Facial at Invidia. It was really relaxing (I almost nodded off towards the end), and fun. When it was over, I was joking that my face felt and looked like porcelain. It was so rejuvenating and restoring! I couldn't believe it. I encourage anyone - male or female - to get one. I think I may be hooked! I cannot recommend Invidia more highly and I look forward to going back for the Hydra Facial, their other great services and, of course, hanging out with their awesome staff! Invidia Salon and Spa is the best; it’s so worth the trip.

I also had my first experience with James with reflexology. Everyone must try this service!!! I know I will be back on a regular basis for this service as well. I needed a new salon and spa, I found Invidia and I couldn't be happier. I love my Hairstylist and Waxologist, they are well trained and if I have a question or an idea for my hair they are willing to get me an answer and work with me to obtain my desired result. I am so pleased with my experiences there, I take my daughter there for her hair and manicures. I look forward to my spa days and it's a place where I am able to let go of what's going on and focus on me.

I visited Invidia for the first time today for a gel manicure with Tiarrah; my friend had a regular manicure with Tiffany. The Spa is very spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. All the areas including the hair salon, the manicure/pedicure stations, the tranquility room and the restrooms were meticulously clean. I was greeted promptly, registered, and after a short wait during which I enjoyed a complimentary cappuccino (!) we were taking to select our colors and brought to the work stations. We had lovely conversations with our nail technicians (I hope that is the proper term) during our services which were top notch. Afterwards we were offered to stay as long as we liked in the tranquility room, where recliners, blankets, a cozy fireplace and complimentary water were waiting for us. The staff were friendly and very professional throughout our stay. The prices are slightly more expensive than your regular "strip mall mani/pedi" but it's definitely worth it. You will leave feeling pampered and rejuvenated!
